Our Story

A construction company built for owners who aren't always on site.

Playa Builder exists because building in the Riviera Maya requires someone accountable on the ground — especially when the owner isn't.

Why we started, and why it still matters.

Playa Builder was formed to close a specific gap: foreign owners were buying and designing ambitious homes in the Riviera Maya, then losing control of them once construction began. Local execution needed the same discipline as the design phase — documented scope, real reporting and someone who answered for the outcome.

That gap hasn't closed on its own. It's still the reason most owners come to us before they come to a general contractor.

How the company operates today

Operational discipline, led from the numbers up.

Aracely leads Playa Builder today after moving up through the company's accounting and administration functions. That path shows in how projects are run: budgets are tracked line by line, changes are documented before they're executed, and reporting isn't an afterthought — it's where the leadership started.

That's a deliberate difference from a company led purely on the construction side. Financial and administrative discipline sits at the center of how work gets approved and delivered.

What this means for you

An organization behind the project, not just a contractor and a phone number.

If you're building from outside Mexico, that structure is what gives you visibility instead of guesswork — a company built to be checked on, not just trusted blindly.
